Susan Darst Williams is a writer, speaker, creativity coach, and fun-loving mother of four. One of “those” kids who was a class clown, she grew up in the principal’s office, married her high school sweetheart, smartened up at the University of Missouri School of Journalism, and has been a word nerd ever since.

A former reporter for The Omaha World-Herald and the Midlands Business Journal, Susan also has been editor of RFD-TV The Magazine. She has written for a host of free-lancing clients, producing everything from books to articles to song parodies to greeting cards. Check out her Educational News site GO BIG ED!

Her No. 1 passion is using humor and inspiration to represent Jesus Christ to a world that often needs a smile and some hope. Another key interest is helping disadvantaged children do better in school by providing complementary education in the good old 3 R’s.  Susan also gives humorous, inspirational speeches for secular and Christian audiences, Making Hearts Clap
